Slow Cooker Knockwurst with Sauerkraut and Apples Recipe

Ingredients :

  • 1 (20 ounce) can sauerkraut
  • 1 (16 ounce) package knockwurst
  • 1 cup dark German beer
  • 3 apples, peeled and cored
  • Methods :

  • Step 1

    Spread sauerkraut into the bottom of a slow cooker crock. Arrange knockwurst atop the sauerkraut. Pour beer over the knockwurst.

  • Step 2

    Cook on Low for 5 hours.

  • Step 3

    Put apples into the slow cooker and continue cooking for 1 hour more.
