Vegetarian Mushroom Tacos Recipe

Ingredients :

  • 2 tablespoons butter, or as needed
  • 4 cups finely chopped mushrooms
  • 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning
  • 8 (6 inch) corn tortillas, or as needed
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • ¼ cup guacamole, or to taste
  • ¼ cup sour cream, for topping
  • ¼ cup taco sauce, or to taste
  • Methods :

  • Step 1

    Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add mushrooms and cook until soft, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess butter and return to heat. Add taco seasoning and stir to combine, about 2 minutes more.

  • Step 2

    Serve each tortilla topped with a few tablespoons of mushroom mixture, shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, guacamole, sour cream, and taco sauce.
